Senior Electronics Engineer (Power Electronics)

We have a vacancy for a Senior Electronics Engineer to join our growing team working on the bench in the workshop/Lab reverse Engineering & repairing faulty equipment. The Equipment typically ranges from Power Supplies (SMP’s) and Power Inverters to Micro Processor Based Circuit Boards, PLC Controllers, Touch Screen Monitors, Single Board Computers (SBC’s) and various other Electronic Devices. This is component level work requiring solid Debug knowledge, expertise and strong rework skills and experience.

The role involves:

• Diagnosing and Repairing on the bench Faulty Industrial Electronic Equipment to component level
• Identifying through iterative debug the root cause components related to the fault
• Detailing appropriate corrective actions required including identifying suitable replacement parts
• Soldering, reworking and replacement all necessary components
• Updating the in house tracking system to outline the steps all technical activity

The ideal candidate should have Skills & Experience in some of the following:

• Have a natural talent for repairing electronic equipment to component level
• Have experience working on the bench repairing electronics at the component level
• Qualified in an Electronic/Electrical Engineering discipline and have several years experience
• Have specific knowledge of Power supplies (SMP’s), AC drives/Inverters, & PLC’s
• Have expertise in high quality rework/repair (to IPC standard) skill on all SMT devices
• Have Experience repairing and configuring -Servers, SBC’s, Portable devices etc.
• Knowledge & experience working with Various OS and File systems
• Knowledge of file transfer/copying and Disk Imaging across multiple Media types
• Be comfortable working with power equipment
• Fluent/advanced written and spoken English

Electronics Bench Repair Positions

We have several vacancies for suitably experienced persons to join our technical team working on the bench debugging, repairing & testing a broad variety of Electrical/Electronic equipment. The Equipment typically ranges from Power Supplies (SMP’s) and Power Inverters to Servo Drives/Motors, Digital & Analog Circuit Boards, PLC Controllers, Single Board Computers (SBC’s), HMI’s & Touch controllers and various other pieces of Industrial Electronic equipment.

The role is primarily to work on the bench using our unique systems to debug, repair and test various equipment at component level. The Equipment typically ranges from Circuit Boards to Power Supplies (SMP’s), and various other Electronic and Electro-Mechanical Devices.

• Have knowledge of file transfer/copying and Disk Imaging across multiple Media types
• Have expertise in high quality rework/repair (to IPC standards) on SMT & PTH devices.
• Fluent/advanced written and spoken English.
